CITY CONSIDERING CHANGES TO LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS
The Helena City Commission will consider second passage of an Ordinance containing changes to the landscaping requirements of the City’s zoning regulations at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2012 in the Commission Chamber on the third floor of the City-County Building, 316 North Park Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.
The proposed changes will affect landscaping requirements. Amendments to the landscaping requirements (Chapter 24) will generally revise the chapter and incorporate landscaping and screening requirements for parking lots. Other sections of this chapter may also be clarified. Commissioner Thweatt is also proposing amendments to the landscaping ordinance on February 13, 2012.

CITY CONSIDERING CHANGES TO PARKING REQUIREMENTS
The Helena City Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2012 for first passage of an Ordinance containing changes to the parking requirements of the City's zoning regulations.
Amendments to the parking requirements (Chapter 22) include deleting off-street loading requirements, revising off-street parking requirements to correspond to the Land Use Table in Chapter 2 in addition to revising some of the required number of parking spaces; deleting the limitation on the maximum number of off-street parking spaces; deleting landscaping and screening requirements; and revising the parking space reductions that are permitted. Other sections of this chapter may also be clarified.
