How to Apply

The City of Helena accepts applications for current open positions only.

The applications are provided in two formats, Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF.
All applications must be received by mail, e-mail (general applications only & signature not required) or hand delivered by the closing date & time listed on the job description. Carefully read the position descriptions(s) you are interested in to make sure you submit all required information or required attachments. Any incomplete applications will not be considered.

General Permanent positions:

Seasonal or On-call positions:

Fill out either, print and return seasonal application to specified department you are applying for.

Police Officer:

POST (PDF) *A Passed MT Law Enforcement Consortium test is required for consideration in actual opening.

Fire Fighters:

Applications are available to persons who pass the written and physical at the annual MT Firefighters Testing. For more information go to www.montanacareerfirefighterjobs.net
