Parkland Encroachments

Helena is forever changing and extending its borders adding new parks and open lands.  It is important to check the ownership of the surrounding lots to see if your property is near parks or open lands.  Then if you need to encroach on the park, you can learn the process by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at 447-8463, or for open space  issues, contact the Natural Resource Coordinator at 447-8454.
