Frequently Asked Questions

What are parkland encroachments?
Parkland encroachments occur when any disturbance is made on city parks or city-owned open space that has not been approved.

If I don't think I will cross into city property, should I still get approval?
Yes.  It is better to have to approval first before you cross into city parkland because if you were to damage the property, it would be your responsibility to repair the area to its condition prior to encroachment.
