Descriptions for Tennis Lessons
Beginners: This level is for elementary aged participants (ages 6-10) just starting to develop a joy for tennis. The focus is on developing coordination and strokes through a variety of exercises, drills, and games, while learning basic tennis skills.
Intermediate: This level is for elementary and middle school aged participants continuing to develop their coordination and strokes through a variety of exercises and drills, understanding court etiquette, and practicing sportsmanship.
Advanced: This level is for participants who are proficient in basic tennis skills. Prior to joining this level, student must be able to serve and rally from the base line. This level emphasizes developing coordination and drills that incorporate basic to advanced strokes. Matches will be played periodically.
High School: This level is designed for participants who have mastered basic tennis skills. The focus is on enhancing techniques, developing game strategies, and playing matches.
Adult: Adults are invited to attend either the beginning level or intermediate/advanced class. The beginning level focused on staying active while learning basic tennis skills. The intermediate/advanced level will emphasize skill mastery and playing matches.
Adult and Youth Tennis Lessons
Join us in learning the fundamentals of tennis where the emphasis is on being active and having fun!
- Each session is four weeks long, M-Thurs, and youth participants may join at any time for a prorated fee, partial participation can also be pro-rated.
- Session I: June 13 - July 8 (off July 4)

- Tennis rackets and tennis balls are provided for use during lessons
- Classes may be cancelled due to unsuitable weather. A voicemail system is in place in such events.
- An informational sheet is provided to each student that details proper attire, instructor contact numbers, etc
