Ice Rink    Projected Memorial Park Warming House and Ice Rink schedule is opening day of December 22, 2011 and closing date is February 20, 2012. 

  • Calendar of events & Dates and Hours of Operation 
  • The ice rink at Memorial Park is available for use at no cost when the Warming House is closed.  
  • Ice rink does require daily maintenance so it is closed at times during non-warming house hours of operation.  

The Parks Maintenance Division maintains two other outdoor ice rinks that have no fees for use:

  • Lincoln Park (Roberts & Walnut)
  • Cunningham Park (Allison & Floweree)

HATS (Helena Area Transit Service) is offering FREE transportation for school-aged children on any day that the public school system is out of school.  Students may use the fixed routes to go to the ice rink.  Click here for the fixed routes.

0 - 5 Years Old:  FREE
6 - 17 Years Old:  $1.00
18 & Up:  $1.50

*Skates are available to use for FREE, but are limited in number.  Cost is for use of the Warming House.

NOW OFFERING Broomball!!!

Adult Broomball!
Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM in the months of January & February
Cost:  $2.50 per time

College & High School Broomball!
Fridays from 7 - 8 PM in the months of January & February
Cost:  $0.50

Broomball requires no experience or skates.  Please wear protective equipment such as helmets, pads, and winter clothing.  Thanks to the Kiwanis Club, the Warming House has equipment for the public to use!  Thank you Kiwanis!
