The City of Helena will receive sealed bids for the purchase of FOUR (4) NEW 2012 or 2013 SINGLE AXLE AUTOMATED SIDE-LOADING REFUSE TRUCKS INCLUDING BODIES FOR THE SOLID WASTE DIVISION. Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. local time on February 29, 2012 in the office of the City Clerk, City of Helena, 316 North Park Avenue.
Fleet Maintenance
Fleet Maintenance is a division of the Public Works Department. This division provides all fleet services including preventative maintenance, repairs, acquisition and disposal of the City's fleet for all departments.
The Fleet Maintenance Division is staffed by one manager, one administrative assistant and four mechanic welders. The Fleet Maintenance facility is located at the corner of Carter Drive and East Lyndale. The physical address is 3001 East Lyndale.
