A consultant was selected by the NMTAC in 2009 to complete a master plan and preliminary trail design for an east-west route through town known as the Centennial Trail.  This preliminary 4.75 mile route starts at Spring Meadow Lake, follows the Spring Meadow Trail to Centennial Park, then east to the Montana Avenue/Lyndale Avenue/Helena Avenue intersection, along Boulder Avenue, Billings Avenue and 18^TH Street, then connecting with the East Helena bicycle path.  The master plan report is due this fall.
