Pavement Marking

The Traffic Division employs a summer crew to paint curbs and crosswalks throughout the City.  Priorities are school crosswalks, downtown curbs and crosswalks and the Capitol area curbs and crosswalks.  Contractors are hired to paint centerline striping after the City's chipseal project is completed in late summer months.

The Traffic Division does not paint in residential areas such as driveway approaches, private parking lots, fire hydrants or residential intersections.
