Signal Maintenance

The City Signal Technician maintains 52 State owned signals, school and caution flashers, 16 City owned signals, school and caution flashers and various County owned school and caution flashers.  The Signal Technician is not responsible for placement or timing of signals but works closely with the Montana State Department of Transportation to help ensure the safety of the traveling public. 

The City Signal Technician does not maintain luminary street lights.  Northwest Energy is responsible for street light maintenance.  Please see FAQ page for contact information.
