Helena has more than 2140 acres of developed and undeveloped parkland, including bike/pedestrian trails, a 50-meter outdoor swimming pool, four wading pools, a spray park, a public golf course, tennis sites, a skateboard park, outdoor skating rinks, and more.

The City of Helena has 55 parks, many bike/pedestrian trails, tennis courts, and provides low-cost or free summer recreation programs to area residents and Bill Roberts Golf Course a municipal 18-hole golf course that is family friendly and surrounded by views of the mountains.
